Biography

She was born at Tokyo in 1972 and started the study of piano at the age of 3 years.

She studied at Toho Gakuen School of Music with Prof. S.Tokumaru in Japan. After she studied in the Master-Class of the Conservatoire National Région de Marseille with Prof.Jacques ROUVIER in France, she studied also at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia at Rome with Prof.Sergio PERTICAROLI, where she got a diploma with highest marks.

 

 

She took a lot of prizes in Europe, among others the 3rd prize at the Maria Canals International Music Competition at Barcelona, the 3rd prize at the Chopin International Piano Competition at Mariánské Lázně (the Czech Rep.), and she was finalist at the Busoni International Piano Competition at Bolzano(Italy).

 

When she was back in Japan from Europe, she founded "Friends of Stenhammar".(Stenhammar is one of the most important composers in Sweden.) She organizes a lot of concerts for introduction of Swedish classical music in Japan.

 

She played with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo New City Orchestra, Santa Cecilia Conservatorio Orchestra etc. She was invited to the Festival "Young Praha" as soloist at Praha.

The research on Swedish music and by performing the music is one of her lifeworks. She moved to Sweden from Japan and she lives now in Stockholm.
